They were just “hiding it plain sight” wearing enthusiast camo. Good job Dodge.
Everyone has been arguing wether they’re real or not. “Clones.” “Its just a Hellcat.” Hell they even put Liberty Walk stickers on one. Apparently the rivets are just black stickers. I love the miss matching Nitto and Pirelli stickers too.

I wonder what tire size those are.... I can’t wait till someone takes a Demon to an auto-x course or road course with proper rubber on it.

“How can we make our cars anonymous?”
“Lots of exposed fasteners and bro-stickers.”

I think thats the point.
Throw some stickers on it. No one will think its real.

It was pretty clear for a lot of people what it was, Monday through Friday it spends a lot of time driving from SRT to Chrysler Tech Center, or I’ve seen it lurking around the 1st floor driving between labs and garages.

They’re 315s right? Pretty meaty.

On a related note, I’ve said this a few times... with some engine work, your typical “ricer” Civic becomes the ultimate sleeper.
The last thing you expect those things to be is fast.

This is better advertising for the Demon than any of the lead-up videos. “How did you test the mules in secret?” “Simple - we acted like our target audience and put stickers all over it to look like a tool ”

hahaha exactly.

I know, but people even to do this day are arguing wether they’re real or not. On the Woodward Facebook group, so take that for whats its worth. Like come on, they have cali manufacturer plates.

This goes in line with my theory that a stock Demon will be the most understated MOPAR car on the road. This is proof.

They even got the requisite tire lettering.
What’s up with tire lettering, anyway? That’s like leaving HPDE numbers on your car... tacky and lame.

The drag slicks are. Not sure what those “Pirellis” are.

I like it sometimes.

Too bad honda didn’t think to hide their type R mules by putting a giant “TRD” sticker on a base hatchback. Imagine a new civic with unpainted body kit, a TRD sticker, a fart can exhaust, and slammed down hard.

wonder how many times that they have gotten outrun on the street?......

Stickers on tires is the stupidest automotive trend since underbody lighting.
![]() 04/25/2017 at 16:08 |

Every single time. Probably because they’re driven by engineers at work, who won’t street race and because they’re on normal tires.

can see it now.......
engineers setting there shaking their hung down heads.... “i could of easily outrun that other guy, if i wasnt at work, on the clock, on camera, being “secret”. instead i get to watch taillights disappear all day long”...........

I know one particular designer at GM who would disagree.

I don’t understand how people think they look good. Just reminds me of old like Explorers.

those aren’t stickers. that’s painting the raised black letter sidewall. Common for race slicks. I’m talking about the jabronis who are actually putting vinyl stickers on their tires.
I could also make the argument that most designers at GM clearly have no taste or style based on their current line up. (Spark, Sonic, Malibu, Equinox, Trax, Encore, The SS, and Bolt are all terribly boring designs) or that 240.

I triple dog dare you to add Camaro and/or Corvette to that list
![]() 04/25/2017 at 23:16 |

The Camaro and Corvette are good design, along with the new Acadia, Traverse, Buick Regal, Lacrosse, Enclave, Sierra, Silverado, Yukon, ‘Burban. GM are very hit or miss when it comes to styling. They aren’t even polarizing designs, either their cars are interesting or recycled garbage for the masses.

I agree. I like both. I just also like sowing chaos from time to time as well

Woodward is somehow a mix of fp here and Backpage, it was confirmed to me once it was lurking around in the basement of CTC.

Ahh yea, they are painted. I guess the sticker version is worse. Also he did the new Terrain.
